Description
Technique : Physical & Microscopic Examination
Specimen : Submit 2 ml. (1 ml. Minimum) Semen in a sterile, screw capped, plastic container. Specimen must reach the Lab within 1 hour of collection. (sample should kept at body temperature ( 37.C) after collection )
Temperature : 37°C
Special Instructions for Sample Collection : Only for walk-in patients in main lab on working days Patient should refrain from ejaculation for 2-7 days (ideally 3 days) prior to collection . Specimen must be obtained by masturbation only.
Run days at Section : Every day if received before 3:00 p.m.
